Team Meat has announced that the Wii U port of the difficult platformer, Super Meat Boy, is set to release later this month. A tweet from the developer reveals that the game is set to release May 12th.

When Super Meat Boy hits the Wii U, fans can expect to find it at a nice price. Team Meat has announced that once the game is released it will be on sale for the first two weeks. The game will also feature off-screen play as well as support for the Wii U Pro Controller.

It may be a difficult journey, but it is definitely one worth taking.  Super Meat Boy is out now for the PlayStation 4, Android, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS, with the Wii U version set to release May 12th.
