One thing that every gamer loves is a game packed full of content. One thing that gamers hate is when games feel like they need more and have to purchase DLC (Downloadable Content) to make the game feel more packed. Well, it seems that “South Park: The Stick of Truth” may be walking on a fine line between the two.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the creators of South Park and have the huge role of writing the script and other ideas for this game. One thing they wanted to do before they sat down to create this script was to take elements from their favorite games and put them into theirs so that it would capture the same feeling. Some of the games that inspired them was The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, EarthBound, and many more games along those lines.

The inspiration combined with the passion for what they have created and are going to create in the future led to 850 pages filled with “just about every character” and other elements from South Park. If you have ever seen the TV series you would know that they have a huge character roster and many different elements that make the show what it is.

Parker told people at Comic-Con that they were told to “cut it down, cut it down, cut it down,” and “that everyone kept saying to us [make that extra content]” His response was” fuck that”.  He wanted to make sure that everyone would get the full amount of content and story as they wanted them to have from the start. They said that they will figure out how to do this one way or another. This means that they might make episodes on TV to help fill in some stuff, even though they said they want their game to a pick up and play kind of game.

Look forward to more news here!

    EPIC!

    Holy CRAPPER!!

Walking around a South Park world with various missions, dear Lord you have answered our prayers, and on top of that it’s not 3d but very immersive to the show. Love it!!
