Nadya Sonika’s Nostalgic Lara Croft GO Cosplay

Lara Croft is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Square Enix (previously Eidos Interactive) video game franchise Tomb Raider. She is presented as a beautiful, intelligent, and athletic English archaeologist-adventurer who ventures into ancient, hazardous tombs and ruins around the world. Created by a team at UK developer Core Design that included Toby Gard, the character first appeared in the 1996 video game Tomb Raider. A strong female protagonist that can save herself, she became an instant fan favorite.

Nadyasonika’s latest version of Lara is for promoting Square Enix to represent Lara Croft GO. The GO costume is simple and harkens back to her original low poly count model – perfect for a mobile and tablet version. Nadyasonika did a great job with the iconic blue and brown scheme, she was immediately recognizable to me as Lara! Her accents and accessories are spot-on and I’m excited to see where both her cosplay and the game itself goes from here!
