E3 2016: For Honor Receives New Trailer, Releases Next Year

For Honor receives some new information at Ubisoft’s E3 conference. Instead of the focused multiplayer they had last year, this time For Honor shows off more of the actual world of the game and why players should be invested in the conflict.

The E3 presentation showed off some exciting features of the single player aspect of the game. The gameplay demo showcased the vikings battling through the samurai. The Viking had slow but devastatingly powerful attacks. The Viking made his way through the samurai army that stood before him. The enemies consisted of weak solders that were quickly dispatched and larger enemies that took more skill to defeat. At the end of the trailer the Viking had to battle a samurai leader who posed much more of a threat with his quick attacks and much better defense.

It was this trailer that truly showed off the combat. The Viking had a few different attacks that dealt massive damage or knocked enemies prone.Players will even be able to get the drop on unsuspecting enemies by dropping down on them with a devastating attack. There is also the ability to use the environment as a weapon such as shoving an opponent’s head into a wall of spikes for an instant kill.

For Honor will be available just in time for Valentines day on February 14th, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
