Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Pays Homage to P.T.

Many people were saddened when they found out that Silent Hills was no longer being worked on, and it seems that Hideo Kojima might have been a little upset about it too. The only reason one might think so is because it appears that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has an Easter egg that makes a nod toward P.T. — the playable teaser for the cancelled Silent Hills.

There’s a radio within Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s second zone that is broadcasting the same horrific news story that was played during P.T. While it might be a small mention, it’s a mention nonetheless and those who were looking forward to the title can at least know that Kojima Productions recognizes that people were looking forward to Silent Hills.
