Splatoon, Nintendo’s first foray into the online shooter space, just keeps on trucking, and today the house that Mario built revealed some new info on the next Splatfest, and this one will put to rest one of the oldest feuds known to man.

No, not pirates vs. ninjas. No not Autobots or Decepticons; that was last time. No, this Splatfest will deal with Art vs. Science. Which will you go with? Do you like drawing happy trees, or do you like breaking those trees apart and studying what goes on with them? Don’t worry if you don’t have an answer now, as you have until September 18th to decide, which is when the new Splatfest is set to start. For those who want to play Splatoon but can’t wait to participate in Splatfest, then this other piece of Splatoon news will surely please you, as Nintendo also revealed that a new weapon will be added to Splatoon later tonight at 7PM Pacific Time.  The new weapon in question is called H-3 Nozzlenose, and according to the description, the weapon is made for people who want “a weapon that packs a wallop, but looks like a rolled up garden hose.” Yep, sounds like my kind of weapon.

Splatoon is available now exclusively for the Wii U.
