No Single-Player DLC for Tomb Raider

We have some bad news for those of you out there hoping for some additional single-player content for Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider reboot. During an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, global brand manager for Crystal Dynamics Karl Stewart stated that, “there are currently no plans in place for any single-player expansions. All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience.”

There might be some out there that will decry this announcement since the single-player offering of Tomb Raider is what everyone is raving about. The multiplayer, on the other hand, has been getting mixed reception from both reviewers and consumers. Still, if Crystal Dynamics can change up the multiplayer experience with their DLC rather than simply adding new skins and levels, there might be some exciting stuff on the horizon. We’ll keep you posted on any announcements regarding the continuing adventures of Lara Croft, whether it be multiplayer or even single player following a change of heart from Crystal Dynamics.
