Capcom has introduced yet another new character that’ll be coming to Street Fighter V, the Arab fighter Rashid. Rashid made his debut at the Dubai Games 2015 event in Dubai, where Capcom Producer Yoshinori Ono announced the character during a stage event. Street Fighter V is set to have 16 characters playable at launch, and with the addition of Rashid, that brings the number of announced characters up to 11 with previous characters including Ryu, Ken, Nash, Decali, Chun Li, Cammy, and Bison. Not much is known about the kind of character Rashid is, however from the announcement video linked below, he appears to use wind as his element, and fights with a fierce agility.

Street Fighter V is a PlayStation 4 and PC exclusive, and following a set of shaky initial beta tests, has been making great strides with Capcom responding to player feedback to refine the title before it’s 2016 release. No specific release date has been given just yet, but we can expect Street Fighter V to go live some time next year.
