If you’re excited to play Star Fox Zero, but were unsure about the difficulty, then you should be happy to hear that the game will have two difficulties. One will be for new players unfamiliar with the series, and the other will be for those who love a challenge.

In an interview with TIME magazine, legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto discussed the two modes in length, the first being called the “invincible Arwing”, which will let players fly around the level without worrying about getting shot down, so that new players can “fly through and see the levels”. The other mode will be much more difficult one, where players will be piloting a ship that, “does more damage, but which also takes more damage”. So in other words, if you’ve cut your teeth into games like the hard difficulty in the Bayonetta series, then this harder difficulty will be for you. Of course, both of these difficulties will be completely optional and won’t have to be played to fully experience the game, so if you’re somewhere in the middle, you can play through the game like regular without missing anything.

Star Fox Zero is set to release on April 22nd, 2016, exclusively for the Wii U.
