NeatherRealm has just released a new trailer for Injustice 2 that shows off three new characters for the game. The trailer introduces us to Brainiac, Robin, and Darkseid and does a pretty good job of showing some interesting story bits without revealing too much.
The trailer, called “Lines Are Redrawn”, shows some of the heroes, Superman, Batman, and Supergirl, in some very thematic poses. With those three heroes also comes our first glimpse of Robin in his new outfit, though unfortunately we don’t get any gameplay footage of him to go with it. After our glimpse of Robin, we also get to see Darkseid and Brainiac getting ready for battle. The end of the trailer reveals that Darkseid is a pre-order incentive.
The trailer did a fantastic job of making the story for this game seem very interesting. With all the different poses and Superman holding a mysterious and lifeless body in his arms, there are many different ways this story could go. I’m certainly excited to see how the story will unfold this time around.
Injustice 2 is currently set to launch May 16th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
