Left 4 Dead 2 Is The Latest Xbox 360 Game Added To Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Another game is coming to Xbox One via the backwards compatibility program! Xbox One owners can now download Left 4 Dead 2 on their Xbox One if they own the game on the 360.

This is the fourth Valve game available in the backwards compatibility list following Halo Wars, Soul Calibur II HD, and King of Fighters ‘98. The game was rumoured to be available through the backwards compatibility program months ago when a Reddit user said a friend was able to install the game on Xbox One through the Xbox website. Now, Left 4 Dead 2 is available to all and it joins the long growing list of games that Microsoft is making available with the program.

The list of compatible games grows larger and larger every week with a lot of games being made available to the Xbox One via the emulator from the 360. Any Xbox Live Gold member can use the Games with Gold program and can download any game in the backwards compatibility list for free by just owning the game on the 360. Some highlights of the list include the original Borderlands, Fallout 3, Assassin’s Creed II, and various Halo and Gears of War titles.

Left 4 Dead 2 is available now on the Xbox 360 and owners of the game can download it now on their Xbox One by going to the install games screen.
