A new trailer for Overwatch gives fans the best look at the new Year of the Rooster event. The event shows off new skins, sprays, new game mode, and plenty more.
Originally leaked from Media Market Games, the new video gives us a fantastic look at the new event. While it does confirm much of what was seen in a leaked Chinese video, it also has plenty of new stuff to show off. This new video shows off new skins for Tracer, Bastion, and Junkrat. It also features a bunch of new victory poses that focus around characters holding fireworks. A holiday-themed version of Lijiang Tower is also featured throughout the video.
The main highlight of the new video is definitely the new game mode. It looks like capture the flag is going to be a new game mode for Overwatch. It also appears that there is no character restriction during this event. It will be interesting to see what combination of characters players come up to have the greatest chance of capture the opposition’s flag.
Overwatch’s Year of the Rooster event is set to go live today for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
