New Clips Show “The Flash” in the Friend Zone and “Arrow” Superhero Workout
The CW and Stephen Amell’s Youtube channel have brand new videos giving us a closer look at the on-screen action and off screen work going into their upcoming TV series The Flash.
In the first official CW featurette, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen doesn’t get the answer he was hoping for when he tries to tell his lifelong friend, Candice Patton’s Iris West, that he’s got romantic feelings for her. Iris tells Barry that she knows that there could be some awkwardness between them talking about girls and relationships since they are like brother and sister but not, but that doesn’t mean that he should feel awkward at all and that she hopes he finds an amazing person who loves and adores him for the amazing guy that he is. Oh well, maybe later in the show Barry.
Also, Stephen Amell from Arrow, who will be making appearances on The Flash as the same character, has posted a few behind the scenes videos to YouTube demonstrating his rigorous workout to keep himself in shape for his physically demanding superhero role.
We certainly look forward to seeing more of this promising series from CW when The Flash and Arrow air Tuesdays at 8PM and Wednesdays at 8PM respectively, this Fall. Check out the videos for yourselves below.
