During this year’s Jump Festa, Square Enix showed off a new trailer for both Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue. Try saying that last one three times fast.
The new trailer, which you can check out below, starts off with some footage of the most memorable moments from the games included in the compilation, which includes an HD version of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (originally a Nintendo 3DS game), Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] Back Cover, and a brand new story called Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, which takes place shortly after the events of the the PlayStation Vita game Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Finally, toward the end of the trailer, some new footage for Kingdom Hearts III was shown, and included a look at a new attack based on the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride called Attraction Flow.
Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter is set to release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 sometime in 2016. Kingdom Hearts III on the other hand is still currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
