The Dissidia Final Fantasy series debut back on the PSP, and let players finally put to bed which of the handsome Final Fantasy protagonists would whoop the others hide in a fight. With characters ranging from Cloud to Squall, Lightning, Y’shtola, Terra, and even the original Warrior of Light, the fighter creates a new way to play and use the illustrious Final Fantasy roster in a whole new way. The next iteration of the fighter, being developed for the arcades, brings the concept to the big screen in a major way, with expertly crafted 3D models and a whole new level of digital vibrancy to the series. Next month, Square-Enix is expected to drop a ton of new details for the arcade fighter, including cabinet design and a new trailer, at their Dissidia Final Fantasy Closed Conference 2015 event in Japan, gaming news site Gematsu reports.
In the event, Square-Enix is inviting 150 Square-Enix Members to both watch the new trailer and check out the new cabinet, as well as sit in on a detailed fan talk event, where developers will field fan questions as well as demonstrate the game for the public for the first time ever.
