New Black Ops III Trailer Highlights New DLC Map
A new trailer was released for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, this time focusing on the second map that’ll be in the upcoming DLC pack Eclipse, called Rift. You can check it out below.
Rift is a map that takes place on a military complex stationed above an active volcano; yes, you read that right. An active volcano. As Treyarch describes it, the map “forces tight, intense engagements, where the only way through is forward” and that if players are to succeed on this map, they’ll need to “utilize the unique core movement opportunities to outsmart and outplay enemies as [they] traverse the suspended rail system.” Sounds like matches on this map are going to be a little more heated than your usual Call of Duty fare.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Eclipse DLC is set to release on April 19th for the PlayStation 4 first, with the Xbox One and PC versions coming a month later. The DLC will include four new multiplayer maps (two of which have yet to get trailers) and a new Zombie mode map.
