New Fallout 4 Mod Lets You Play As Dogmeat

Dogmeat, the lovable Fallout dog companion, was introduced to all of us in the original Fallout and ever since then he has been in our hearts. It is only now in Fallout 4, with the help of a mod, are we now finally able to play as him.

This mod, called Be the Dog- Playable Dogs, was created by “Abbalovesyou”, and it allows players to take control of Dogmeant, a raider dog, or a feral dog. The dog can equip dog gear, as long as it doesn’t have a block on the players equipping it. The dogs also have different forms of attack, two basic attacks and a jump bite.

Fallout 4’s  first DLC, Automatron, is now available for download as well on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The DLC sets players up to hunt down a mysterious mechanist who is creating a murderous mechanized robot horde that is roaming the Commonwealth.
