Payday 2 Comes To SteamOS, Free To Existing Owners

It has been announced that Payday 2 will now be available for SteamOS. Starbreeze and Overkill have brought the game onto SteamOS for $19.99 but those who already own the game on Steam or on the Alienware Steam Machine can download the SteamOS version for free.

It was also announced that Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 will be 75% off on Steam as well as all DLC and Payday 2 will be free-to-play now until March 31st. The version on SteamOS will receive the same updates as the Windows version on Steam. Payday 2 was supposed to be released for SteamOS in October 2015 but the game was pushed back to Q1 2016, but was delayed. And now those on SteamOS will be able to play the game as well. If you haven’t played Payday 2 yet, download it and play it for free on Steam until March 31st!

Payday 2 is available for the PC on Steam, and now for SteamOS. The game is also available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
