Posted July 25, 2016 by

The Sonic Team has been working hard to bring the fastest thing alive back to the top of the gaming industry. Recently the studio revealed that another Sonic game, titled Project Sonic 2017 is in the works.

A few days ago, the official Sonic The Hedgehog YouTube channel uploaded the game’s debut trailer. The reveal trailer shows off Sega’s spiky blue hedgehog facing down a new robotic adversary in the distance. Alongside a new enemy to face, the trailer also reveals that the old and new Sonic will be teaming up again for the first time since the original Sonic Generations, as they both can be seen running together before the trailer concludes.

Project Sonic 2017 is anticipated to launch sometime during the 2017 Holiday season. The game will be released on the PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One, as well as on Nintendo’s upcoming yet still currently unknown system, the NX.
