Sean Astin played the treasure hunt leader, Mikey, who also had asthma. When he learns his parents are about to lose their home, the gang sets off on an adventure for treasure that could save it. Astin is the son of Patty Duke and starred in the 1981 flick with his mom, Please Don’t Hit Me, Mom. Nowadays, is knows for his role as Sam in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and has appeared in several episodes of NCIS, Franklin & Bash and even is voicing Rapheal in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Nickelodeon series.
