SDCC: Marvel Reveals Teasers For Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders
San Diego Comic-Con’s programming is well underway, and that means a slew of new teasers and juicy details from all of our favorite TV shows. Thursday’s Marvel/Netflix panel gave fans a sneak peek at what’s to come from their comic-inspired roster, including current favorites Daredevil and Jessica Jones, as well as upcoming new series Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.
One of the highlights of the presentation was a sizzle reel which included memorable moments from Jessica Jones and Daredevil, and introduced the upcoming Luke Cage series with lots of new footage of Mike Colter kicking ass in the titular role. The series also stars Theo Rossi, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Frank Whaley, and Sônia Braga.
During the panel, it was also announced that Daredevil will be renewed for a third season. Luke Cage premieres on Netflix September 30th. A release date for Iron Fist has not yet been announced. Check out the videos below!
