Check Out 15 Minutes of Dying Light: The Following Gameplay

Dying Light is getting an expansion, called The Following. During a recent 28 minute stream, developer Techland showed off 15 minutes of gameplay of The Following. That stream has now been posted on YouTube, which you can check out below.

The video includes commentary from many members of the development team, shows off footage from a quest chain called “The Trust is Out There”, which showcases a lot of the expansion’s new features, including a giant new map, drivable dune buggies (that the player can also upgrade), and some new ranged weapons. The new map in question is said to be roughly the size of the original game’s maps combined, and protagonist Kyle Crane must explore this hazardous wasteland in order to stop an fanatical cult, who’s beliefs have some connection to the recent zombie outbreak. Dying Light: The Following will cost $14.99 (Season Pass holders will get it for free) for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. The release date is currently unknown.
