Metro-2033

Ukrainian developer 4A Games has just announced that they will be re-releasing Metro 2033 and its 2013 sequel, Metro: Last Light bundled together into one single package dubbed, Metro Redux. Metro Redux is coming to Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and according to the game’s publisher Deep Silver will be a, “complete remaster,” of the originals.

Deep Silver brand manager Huw Beynon has revealed that Metro 2033 has been rebuilt using the same engine used to develop Metro: Last Light which Beynon also confirmed has been given a visual upgrade―and a handful of gameplay improvements. Beynon also confirmed that each title will feature two distinct difficulty modes, Survival Mode and Spartan Mode, both titles will also support Ranger Mode, which in my experience is the best way to play.

Both games will be available separately for $24.99 and will be bundled together on disc for $49.99. Beynon has said that both console versions are expected to run at 60 frames per second and while the PlayStation 4 version will run at 1080p the Xbox One version will only run at 900p.
