Payday 2 Kicks Off Spring Break with a New Trailer for a Bunch of Content

Overkill software has begun their spring break event which will bring new content to the game every day for this week. This promotion comes after the hype train event, in which fans could buy DLC to unlock more content for free. In the promotion fans met every goal so the premier robbery simulator will be receiving a slew of content in the coming week including new heists, a new character and new weapons and weapon mods.

The content being released today are two reworked heists including “Cook Off”, a reworked version of the heist “Rats” in which you must defend a meth lab from the cops while cooking up enough bags to turn a profit. The second heist is “Train Heist” which previously was an extra day of an Armored Transport heist that could be unlocked by finding a blueprint in the first day. It’s now being released as a standalone heist with some improvements. As always with Payday 2 DLC you will be able to play the heist without owning it as long as the host of your session does, but if you want to go solo or host the heist you will need to purchase it.
