Another new character has been announced for the upcoming Street Fighter V, the wrestling dream kid Rainbow Mika and her tag-team partner Nadeshiko, who first made their debut in the Street Fighter Alpha series. Nadeshiko joins the fray not as a playable character, but as an assist built into R. Mika’s V-Trigger ability, helping Mika out in her special moves and abilities. R. Mika is even able to pull out a microphone to deliver a heart-pumping monologue to the audience, which will allow her to not only absorb one hit, but even interrupt the enemy by throwing the microphone at her opponent and cancelling her speech, which if held down will boost her normal and special throws to do extra damage.

Over at the Capcom Unity blog, we get a special look at all Rainbow Mika’s special abilities, which describes her as a close combat guessing game that is sure to strike fear into the hearts of her opponents as they try to guess where and how she’ll strike. Rainbow Mika will be playable at Pax Prime this weekend in Seattle, check out the trailer below!
