The Star Wars news just keeps rolling in. After Episode VII had a huge presence at D23 (including a tie-in with Disney Infinity 3.0), EA got in on the Star Wars hype, by hinting that new heroes and villains would be playable in the upcoming highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront.
On the game’s official Twitter account, a picture was posted showing off a few of the confirmed Heroes and Villains already playable (Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett), with the caption “Boba Fett, Darth Vader, & Luke Skywalker are yours to command. There are more Heroes & Villains to come. Who’s next?” While we won’t know for sure who the character is until EA announces them, we can get some clues based on this picture and some recent info. The picture shows off two villains (Boba Fett, and Darth Vader) and one hero (Luke Skywalker), so it’s most likely a new hero. If it is hero, then who would it be? Han Solo has been all but confirmed at this point, as previous media for the game shows off his blaster and the Millennium Falcon, so he seems like a lock at this point. Maybe it’s Princess Leia or Lando? It might even be a new character from the upcoming movie perhaps? Regardless, you’ll be able to play as this mysterious new hero/villain and a bunch of other famous Star Wars characters when Star Wars Battlefront releases on November 20th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
