Ubisoft Shanghai has announced their free-to-play browser MMO. Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online has entered closed alpha testing. The announcement comes alongside a new video which has been specially prepared to showcase the real-time gameplay.

The game features multiple single-player campaigns as well as select PvP elements as players engage in epic power struggles spanning many exotic locations. In the final build you must try and rebuild your country, reunite your faction and fight for what’s left following on from the epic conclusion of Tom Clancy’s EndWar on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This alpha test is of course not quite the full scale fight for survival depicted above, but the core elements are here and the game looks like a lot of fun.

So far there’s no word on an official release date, but you can try and secure access to the game’s alpha test by registering on the game’s official website.
