A mobile version of Wargaming.net’s award winning World of Tanks has hit the app store today which the developer claims is, “A truly free-to-play game. No timers, energy bars, fuel—play as much as you want and whenever you want.” World of Tanks Blitz boasts over 90 iconic tanks from Germany, the United States, the USSR and features impressive 14 player online capabilities. “You’ll be able to battle in a variety of iconic vehicles ranging from fearsome Panzers to the mass-produced Shermans and T-34s. And there’s no need to go solo — team up with a friend and create your own two-man Platoon to battle in eight original maps,” reads a post of the games official website.
The original World of Tanks is a finely tuned machine and a shining example of how to dominate in the PvP market. The game’s slightly more considered style of gameplay means that every shot counts and the developer claims that World of Tanks Blitz has been specifically rebuilt, “for optimal online mobile gameplay,” so hopefully that quality will transcend the PC and console versions of the game.
