Zombie Driver Ultimate Edition Sneaks Onto Xbox One

Microsoft gave out an early birthday gift for gamers everywhere this morning when they surprised everybody with the release of Zombie Driver Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One! Exor Studios zombie-killing driving simulator, Zombie Driver, was released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Android devices back in 2012, but never like this.

Players will be able to get behind the wheel for a campaign, races, and the beloved slaughter mode. The previously released DLC’s from other platforms will be included in the Ultimate Edition. All this and more running 1080p at 60 frames per second on the Xbox One.

Larry Hryb wrote on his Major Nelson blog, “Insane mix of cars, speed, explosions, blood and zombies! [...] Engage huge bosses, save survivors, drive crazy vehicles such as a bulldozer, fire truck or even a tank and smash everything in your way.” New weapons, twice the zombie horde, and a new “retro” top-down camera have also been added to the game.

The best part about Zombie Driver Ultimate Edition is that it is available right now on the Xbox One for only $15. No news yet on if the game will be coming to PS4.
