CD Projekt RED Talks The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine DLC

In a recent interview with Eurogamer, translated by OnlySP, CD Projekt RED took some time to hype up the highly anticipated expansion DLC for their critically acclaimed RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Like the previous DLC, Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine will feature an entirely new set of story quests and equipment, but unlike Hearts of Stone, “Blood and Wine is a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, and will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.” Reads the game’s official description.

In the interview, the CD Projekt RED team exclaim that the Blood and Wine story is even better than the story found in the main game, and that players will appreciate the attention to a more complex character and a new charismatic enemy for Geralt to face off against. Most importantly, according to the interview, this will be Geralt’s final story, so CD Projekt RED looks to go out with a huge bang.
