Cosplay of the Day: A Dragon Ball Z Cosplay With Bulma Brief!

As a scientist and the daughter of Capsule Corporation’s founder, Dr. Brief, Bulma Brief is a well known character to all Dragon Ball fans. She appears on Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT as well as video games and manga appearances. Aside from Goku, Bulma is the single longest-running character in the entire meta-series, being introduced in the first Dragon Ball chapter and episode, and maintaining a prominent role until the final chapter of the manga and the final episode of Dragon Ball GT, so she holds a very well known role.

Bulma’s appearance is very unique and has changes through out the series. She has gone through a total of 17 different hairstyles from the original manga, her hair starting off as purple, and in the anime it becomes turquoise. Many of the clothes Bulma is seen wearing often advertise her name or the Capsule Corporation logo on it. Her usual clothing is short skirts, shorts, and dresses with tank tops and sometimes even strapless tops. She has worn pants and jackets of course and mixes her girly style with a tom boy sense as well.

A Cosplayer after the name of Kitty Honey takes on the popular character Bulma. The great thing about Bulma cosplay is that because she is such a well known character for Dragon Ball fans and has appeared on many episodes, she has a lot to work with. Bulma’s clothing changes a ton so she has a variety of styles. Although Bulma is a scientist, she does dress sexily and always puts in time to look good. In Kitty’s cosplay, she demonstrates a red dress, turquoise hair in the cut of a bob, and a yellow bandana around her neck.

Kitty did a fantastic job on Bulma’s cosplay. She perfected the costume, although simplistic to fit Bulma’s style, it does take a lot of work to make the most simple things. She also took flawless pictures. The makeup, background, and costume blend together well and complete everything. With just taking your time on your costume and really dedicating all of your effort into it, you can really bring your character right off the pages of its manga or right out of the screen of its anime just like Kitty did as Bulma.
