Fighter Squadron Mode Debuts in New Star Wars Battlefront Trailer

Today, DICE announced that Star Wars Battlefront will be getting a brand new Fighter Squadron mode; Fighter Squadron mode will allow you to man airborne vehicles and take it to the sky in a 20 Versus 20 multiplayer aerial battleground. As a rebel fighter, the point of the battle is to take down an imperial transport that is attempting to escape. As the Imperials, you will be defending the shuttle while manning your TIE fighter.

The trailer shows about two minutes of gameplay footage of Fighter Squadron mode. As a rebel, you can strap into one of the signature X-wings or A-wings to take down the Imperial fighters in various TIE fighters. Each side will also include 10 additional AI units to add to the excitement of the aerial dogfights. Most surprisingly of all, the famous Millennium Falcon makes an appearance. You can check it out for yourself in the trailer below.

Star Wars Battlefront will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 17.
