Halo Wars, King of Fighters ’98 Come To Xbox One Via Backwards Compatibility

This week, Microsoft announced that three more games were added to the list of backwards compatible games available for the Xbox One. The games include a classic 2D fighter King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match, an arcade favorite fighter, and a genre hybrid from Microsoft’s biggest series, Halo Wars.

The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match, is considered a cornerstone entry into the long running fighting games series from SNK Playmore. This game can now be yours on the Xbox One. Bungie’s real-time strategy game for the Halo series, Halo Wars, is now to anyone looking for a fix while waiting for the upcoming addition to the series. Last, but not least, is Soul Caliber II HD, the fighting game that launched with console exclusive characters.

These three titles will be joining the slew of new games that are being added to the list of backwards compatible games for the Xbox One including recent additions such as the original Dark Souls, Assassin’s Creed and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. A full list can be found here.
