Injustice: Gods Among Us Is Now Playable On Xbox One Via Backwards Compatibility
Two Xbox 360 games are now playable on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. This is good news for those who are fans of DC, fighting games, or punching Superman in the face, as one of those two games are Injustice: Gods Among Us.
The news comes from Xbox boss Larry “Major Nelson” Byrd on Twitter this morning, who announced that both Injustice and a game called Haunted House, which is a remake of an old Atari 2600 game that is considered one of the pioneers of the horror genre, would be added to the service. For those of you wondering, both the original version of Injustice and the Ultimate Edition, which includes all the game’s DLC characters and costumes, are compatible now on the Xbox One. It is important to note that the Ultimate Edition is disc only, so you won’t be able to download it to your system, however, if you’re one of the lucky people to have the disc, just pop it into your Xbox One and your good to go.
This is also a great time to play the game while you wait for it’s sequel, Injustice 2. That game doesn’t have a release date, but it is set to come to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 hopefully next year.
