Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Choices May Carry Over To Other Games

According to creative director of Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mac Walters, You choices in Mass Effect: Andromeda may impact future games. Fans of the first Mass Effect trilogy should be well aware of how important it is too keep your save files.

During a recent interview with Game Informer, Walters answered some common questions for Mass Effect: Andromeda, one of these questions was if decisions made in the game would carry over to future games. Unfortunately, Walters didn’t give a very clear answer. When asked if player should keep their save files, Walters said, “I don’t think it would hurt.” Not a clear confirmation, but certainly not saying it is impossible.

it would certainly make sense for save files to carry over. It is already a standing tradition in Mass Effect games and while Andromeda isn’t being looked at strictly as a trilogy, BioWare does want to make more games set in  that universe.

Walters went on to answer a few more questions in the interview. Walters went on to mention that BioWare is “very much think[s] of Andromeda as a series. What we do with that series is TBD at this point.” Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to launch March, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
