Nintendo’s E3 Slot To Show Off The New Legend Of Zelda

Nintendo has announced that its E3 conference will be entirely dedicated to the new The Legend of Zelda. With the hype of the game being so incredibly high, as it is the latest installment into one of the most beloved series, it makes sense to give fans a very in depth look into what they can expect from the game.

The show kicks off at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14th, with Nintendo of America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime introducing an entire day of livestreamed gameplay. Nintendo Treehouse: Live will be hosting the stream with Nintendo developers coming by every now and then to offer commentary and a behind the scenes look at the game. Fans can expect their first in-depth look at the title which series producer Eiji Aonuma has described as “removing boundaries” and boasting “gameplay that has not been experienced in previous games in the series.” Nintendo is going all out for The Legend of Zelda as not only will it be playable on the E3 floor, it will be the only game in Nintendo’s booth.

E3 runs from June 14th through June 16th. The Nintendo Treehouse: Live show will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and The new Legend of Zelda game will launch simultaneously on both the Wii U and Nintendo’s mysterious new console, codenamed NX, in 2017.
