No Man’s Sky’s First Update Is In The Works, Hello Games Reveals File Size

With the release of No Man’s Sky slowly creeping up on us, it is no surprise that their developer, Hello Games is spilling some beans about the upcoming action survival video game. Despite No Man’s Sky being a massive game, the game the developer has stated the game only takes up approximately 6 GB of space on a disk, as well as confirmation that the first update is in development.

Hello Games Founder Sean Murray, recently revealed the surprisingly small amount of data through his official Twitter account. Alongside revealing how much space the game takes up, Murray commented that most of that audio files hold the most space

In addition, Murray announced that the development team is already working on the game;s first update. However, it was not stated whether or not the first official update for the game would be a day one patch or if the update would be released sometime later in August.

Last week, No Man’s Sky went gold, with a release for August 9th, 2016 for PC and PlayStation 4.
