X-Men Apolcalypse Villains

X-Men Apocalypse Trailer Attached to Star Wars Episode 7

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens expected to rip the Holiday box office a new one (again, after breaking ticket pre-purchase records), the “coming attractions” timeslot before Episode 7 is becoming increasingly prime real-estate.

We’ve already heard that Disney and Marvel are booking their “in house” preview seat for Captain America Civil War’s trailer. Now, Collider has confirmation from X-Men Apocalypse co-writer/producer Simon Kinberg that Star Wars will also carry the trailer for the X-Men sequel.

“I can in fact confirm that information. Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”

You think audiences will get a glimpse of Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse in the X-Men trailer, and then recognize his more mundane appearance as Poe in the immediately following Star Wars?

Audiences will be in for a whole bunch of exciting nerdom when they go to see Star Wars Episode 7 in theaters. Though, they’ll have to wait until May 27th, 2016 for X-Men Apocalypse.
