Disney Infinity 3.0 Makes Every Star Wars Fan’s Dreams A Reality

Disney Infinite 3.0 is coming out this year, with highlight being figures based on Star Wars. But there’s another reason for fans to get happy, as it would appear that some of the restrictions of the Play Sets, the main single player component for Disney Infinity, have been loosened once more. With the Stars Wars Play Sets, you can use any of the characters in the Play Set, regardless of the era. For example, want Han Solo and Chewbacca to fight in the Clone Wars alongside Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu? You can do that now thanks to Disney Infinity 3.0, which is a huge leap forward, and a far cry from the restrictions in Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0.

However, it is important to note that this is only with the Star Wars characters and Play Sets. Those of you hoping that you would be able to see Spider-Man fight Darth Vader outside of the game’s Toy Box mode, which lets players build and design their own little games and adventures, will unfortunately be out of luck for the time being. Disney Infinity is set to come out this fall for Playstation 4, Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
