SDCC 2014: New Trailer Released For Gotham

A new trailer has been released for the Fox television show Gotham, which tells the story of Commissioner James Gordon, the Gotham City police officer who would become the trusted ally of the Dark Knight, Batman. Gotham takes place before the Dark Knight first donned the black cowel, detailing the rise of Gordon, alongside other members of Gotham City’s underworld such as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, Oswald Cobblepot, aka Penguin, District Attorney Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, and Edward Nigma, aka The Riddler.

In the trailer below, we see a young Bruce Wayne begin his training to avenge his parent’s tragic death, as well as see the groundwork for the various characters that’ll make up the story. Gotham is set to air on Fox on September 22nd, 2014, with the first pilot being screened this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, and stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot.
