SDCC 2014: ‘Star Wars’ Shadow Storm Trooper Figure Revealed by JAKKS

Just over a month from now, we will be diving into one of the biggest conventions in the world at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. For you lucky SDCC passholders who are also Star Wars fans, there will be a limited number of the Star Wars Shadow Storm Trooper figure by JAKKS Pacific. Once the extremely limited quantity of 500 figures is gone, your only hope of owning one will be to check eBay. The figure is available exclusively at this year’s Con, with a retail price of $50.00.

“This incredible figure was a collaboration of the JAKKS team and their design expertise, as well as the classic creations of Lucasfilm,” John Blaney, Executive Vice President, Marketing JAKKS Pacific, told The Hollywood Reporter. “The sculpt of the Shadow Trooper remains true to character featuring distinguishing all-black armor and an imperial blaster rifle. We have put a lot of creativity and enthusiasm into this limited-edition line and with only 500 figures made, it is sure to be a fan favorite.”

The production for these figures has been in association with Lucasfilm and each of them will be exclusively marked to record when it was produced via the manufacturer. The Shadow Storm Trooper figures will stand about 31” tall and will have seven points of articulation and an imperial blaster. Hopefully, you can get your hands on one of these Troopers!
