Have you ever wanted something so badly that you would do anything to get it? That is how Adrianne Palicki is feeling, after the 2011 pilot for NBC’s “Wonder Woman” was an epic fail. Would she do it again? Of course, but at what price?

Adrianne spoke with Bang Showbiz while on the red carpet for “G.I. Joe: Retaliation”. Adrianne stated: “If they wanted me, I would absolutely do it in a heartbeat. [...] I was devastated [when it wasn't picked up]. We shot it and it was amazing. I got to wear the uniform, I got to wear the outfit, and it didn’t go. I was completely devastated about it.”

Now Adrianne is not the first star who was disappointed with the end result. In January, David E. Kelley spoke with the Hollywood Reporter. “We produced it at warp speed and it’s a special effects show and it took more time than we were able to give it. We [would've been] able to give it more time and extend it had we been picked up. Just learning the storytelling – the genre was very different for me and I had a lot to learn; my learning curve probably would have gotten better.”

So much to do and not enough time. What a shame that is, and hopefully NBC will take another whack at it and fill all of the holes needed to bring “Wonder Woman” back to the small screen. We have many other heroes out there getting the proper recognition, and no Wonder Woman!

The CW, on the other hand, still has the proposed “Amazon” waiting in the wings and it’s likely to be in contention for a spot ont he network. Also, Kelley even noted that he would be willing to try his hand in making this “Wonder Woman” series.

As they say, “If at first you dont succeed …”. Hopefully in the next year or so, we can see the patriotic starlet come to life. For more Wonder Woman news, check back regularly.
